Well when I got home DH and I washed my car in the garage, I vacuumed it. Course it suppose to rain but it was so dirty it needed a layer washed off.

I then did the Wii Active while he gets rid of the oil. So I got alot of exercise done today and it felt great.

I started the cutlets and he comes in and says he forgot he's suppose to met "the guys from work" for a few beers and would i be mad if he went. .................YES I would but he went anyway. So why did you ask me if I'd be mad, you made it sound like you wouldn't go if I would be mad. I guess one of the guys decided they should get together Wed or Thur. to have a few beers together.
So he leaves around 7:45 for "only" an hour. Well it's 10:45 thats one long hour!! I told him don't call me if he sees red lights behind him.

Guess I'll head to bed. see you all tomorrow.

Afternoon!!! Hope your all having a great day.

Ann I know your day might not be great, I hope its better than it was. I will keep you in my prayers and pray you and your family have strength to make it through this next crisis and that it shall pass quickly.

Miss Hattie- Some say Norton/Symantec is a resource hog, just depends. To bad your work day got cancelled. Did you get some ebaying done instead?

Ad WOW three weeks off, thats a great vacation from school. Our "Spring" Break isn't even a whole week I don't think. It's good to hear that Tamar is still going to school and not giving you trouble. Sometimes the "threats" can wear off and the oneryness comes back since they seem to forget.
LOVE your projects. The colors are so bright and happy.

Kat- I think it'd be great if you made your mom a scarf and I bet she'd love to wear it.

Carol- Sounds like your moving a bit better.

Waving to the rest of the group.

Well I've been walking outside for my breaks. I get two miles in then every day, a mile in the morning and one in the afternoon. Yesterday the girl and I snuck in an extra lap on each walk so that gave us an extra mile!!

Tonights plan is to go do my Wii Active for an extra boost of exercise.
Supper is pork tenderloins for the guys and me leftover chicken.
Pick up what needs picked up and then sit with DH and watch TV. Nothing on tonight I want to watch so I can given him some time :p

Seems like there was something I kept wanting to say the last few days and would always forget until I was off the computer.

I'll try to check in later.

Hi everyone,

Ad - hope you have a good snooze

Diane - comcast, isn't that a cable company, it is out here. If you are talking about anti-virus on your computer, then norton is better than mcaffee according to the geek squad.

Ann - I will be thinking of you and your family and hoping for the best during these trying times.

Kat - ugh on the water situation, we were there and even with all our rain/snow, don't think they are anywhere near full.

The morning just flew by and I barely made any headway on the piles. Afternoon is pretty much the same, it is a titch warmer but very windy outside.

Check in later

Kat -- take good advantage of the sunny day. it seems that your weather has been a bit backwards this winter. now it's getting cold??

Ann -- my prayers are with you and your family. deep breath and one step at a time.

Miss H -- yes, Tamar has been going to school every day. well, this past week they didn't really have school because the older kids are in Poland. it's a yearly trip for all the 12th graders. Sunny went a few years ago. Nina didn't want to go this year. we'll see what Tamar wants to do in a few years. anyway, most of the staff took of to Poland with the 12th graders and grades 9-11 had a week off. she returns on Sunday. then they are out for Passover vacation on the 18th, for 3 weeks.

boy am i tired, from doing nothing special. Nina and Tamar cleaned and cooked today and i just crocheted. i guess i'm still a bit tired from the other day. i can't get my forearm wet with any kind of soap, so Tamar did all the dishes and fixed up the kitchen. when i'm taking baths these days, keeping my forearm far from all water. i don't much like baths so i'm hoping the next week goes by quickly.

i'm So envious of you all with the colder temps. we're just suffocating here. the air is full of dust and sand and everything looks gray. hopefully it'll clear up in the next few days. i hope the heat breaks too. i should look up our forecast.

i'm going to bed now, just to watch tv. enough double-crochet clusters for one day. see you all tomorrow.

Sorry, Ann. Will be thinking about you and hope all goes well.

Does anyone have the Norton 360? Our comcast is switching from McAffee to this version of Norton. Just wondering if it takes up a lot of space, does it work well, etc.

Adriana, is your daughter still going to school everyday?

Carol, the Sonic is a fast food restaurant drive-in style where you can drive up to the window or park and order from an outdoor menu -- push the button and order --- and your car-hop brings it out to you. It's a couple of miles away, but close enough he could ride his bike in a pinch. It's the first intersection you come to into the city area from out here in the country.

Almost all of our snow has melted. Just a wee bit left. We're getting there!

Kat, maybe your husband just isn't a morning person. I think B is going to be like that. I have a cousin that way. I learned while growing up and vacationing with her often, ya just don't chat in the morning. I always just go about my business, smile at her, but wait for her to initiate conversation. The rest of the day she'll be fine.

Dang. The phone just rang and I got cancelled for today. Why couldn't it have been a sunny day? Lots of girls have been getting cancelled and this is the first time for me. So I understand.

Sunny here in spite of a chance of rain.

Adriana, I enjoyed the pics of your granny squares.

Kat, DD kitted a hat for me last year and I've enjoyed wearing it in our colder weather this year. Most years it isn't necessary.

Hattie and Carol - DD drives a japanese make, but I always forget which one. Not a toyota or DH would be speaking volumes about it. We bought hers as a high school graduation present and she is still driving it. She's 31 - or is it 32 - or 33? Who knows.:D

We are in the midst of another family crisis. It's been one right after the other this year, so forgive me if I'm not really "here" or don't show up. I don't need a diversion right now I need to be immersed in what is going on around me.

i'm here, barely.

Carol -- i too would have to bite my tongue to keep quiet. it's hard not saying a thing. ~~ eeegggads with you and your crud. i hope the next round of antibiotics does the trick.

feeling like my old self again today, but just a bit tattered around the edges because i now have the HUGE task of putting Racheli's afghan together. as we all know, i have a big problem with the finishing part of projects. i put some pics on the hobby thread to give you and idea of what i've been doing these past few weeks.

i think i'm going to just put it aside for the rest of the day and maybe start on my nieces baby blanket, just for a change.

i'll be back later. hope you're all having a great day !!!

Good morning to all,

Diane - Is Sonic a restaurant and will he be able to drive himself? Both DH and I have Toyota's but my camry is 2004 and not involved in this mess, and DH has a 1999 Solara that he is in love with, if he could figure out how to get his flat screen TV and a bed in there, I wouldn't ever see him. ;)

I keep running a low grade fever of 100.4 or so and then during the night it breaks and I wake up all wet, stagger to the bathroom and change bed wear and then drag myself back. I hate this!!!!!!! I am off my antibiotics for 2 days and then tomorrow start the 2nd round. I am better except for trying to cough up a lung, well and the fever I guess. :(

Today I have way to much that involves deadlines and I am drowning. My DD #1 freight pod arrived yesterday and she is loading it (I think), she is freaking out and quite emotional about leaving after 10 years. Lordy give me strength to deal with her, good thing she has Lola with her because I plan on using the dog as therapy and just keep petting her instead of telling DD what I really think, ok must get in a better frame of mind

Will pop in during lunch

Hi Everyone! I fell asleep early in my chair again last night. But woke up early today coz I had to pee. I think of all the mornings I could have slept in had it not been for the weak bladder! If it could have held it all just a little longer. :p Got up at 5:30 a.m.

Did you sleep well?

Any special plans today? I have to work, take B to school, take Mike to his med appt., and to his volunteer work. Also have my ebay items to get shipped out this morning.

It's 47 degrees already outside headed up to 58 today. Wow. That's is so awesome! I think it's going to be more cloudy today though with perhaps a little rain. I miss the best of the temps by having to leave for work at 1:45 p.m. and I haven't been getting out until almost 7 p.m.

This temporary work assignment has made it clear that I can't work second shift on a regular basis. B doesn't like being left here alone --- and I don't trust her to be alone either -- and I haven't been able to make sure someone is here with her all the time. She's almost 12 and I only leave her alone for short periods.

Anybody here drive a Toyota?

Well, I'd better get B up and get my day started. Have a Wise & Witty Wednesday, Everyone ~ and Be Well. :D
