Not much fun, Kat. Take it easy and give yourself time to heal when it's done.:)

Well while surgery isn't fun or wanted, it IS very much needed. Let us know what is happening after you go today.

I've read about the mesh procedure - kinda like patching drywall, isn't it? I'll know more after I see the surgeon tomorrow.
My brother has had a hernia near his bellybutton for four years, but they can't operate until he loses about 50 lbs. He doesn't consider that enough motivation to stick with a diet. He's drivin' me craaaazy!

A surgery is never something routine and easy to think about for ourselves, but the doc's will have no problem. It's routine for them and I know you'll be fine. Will they be doing a mesh procedure? Keep us posted!

My doctor called and said the CT scan confirms I do have hernia, so I'm NOT being a hypochondriac.
The bad news is, I have a ventral hernia, which isn't as easy to fix, so she says.
The surgeon's office sent a health history form for me to fill out. They only have four lines available to list all my surgeries. Riiiight. I wrote, "see attachment."
Just gotta hold it together one more day and night....
