OMG congratulations Capeclown! I'm a long way from my goal weight still. I'm sure it's a great feeling to get there. Now comes "maintenance" amirite? :)

Rest up, Adrian.
Capeclown, CONGRATULATIONS!!! That was FAST!
Englz, don't let your head play games with you. You are doing great!
Cherie, enjoy your new bobble head!
Mags, sounds like a perfect day. It's beautiful here too. It is only warm in SF a few days a year, but we are currently having a little heat way. Yesterday was in the 80s. My kids are such fog children, they hate warm sunny days. But I love it. :)
CJ, are you finally feeling back to your old self?
Kelly, I'm sorry to hear your son is having a rough year. That's so hard to deal with, as a mom.
Berkley, busy Saturday. Enjoy your day off on Sunday!
Kitti, you have too much going on, girl! Hope you get a break soon.
Hey, Sher, hi to you too!

Okay, my day: DS3 is home sick again. Doesn't seem sick, but I can't send him to school with a fever. I have a conference call in a few minutes, and a walk later. Then I need to get organized. Working at the decorator showcase for school at 5. Jazz concert tonight, featuring DS1!

Food: cereal for breakfast, salad for lunch, something quick for dinner.

i'm here for about two more seconds. i didn't realize how tired i am until it hit me about 5 minutes ago. i tried reading everyone's posts, but i have to go rest for awhile first.

i'm having pizza today for meal #1 and then the rest of the evening will be much better food. i think oatmeal and cottage cheese will be making their comeback later today.

i really should have cooked something since the girls are home... but i got to working a bit and now i'm exhausted. maybe i'll put something in the toaster over later this evening so we can have a good meal tomorrow.

have a great day everyone :D

Mags, I am so jealous! I would love to spend a whole day in my yard/garden!

I go on the scale this morning and was SHOCKED to see I had hit my goal weight!! I mean SHOCKED!!!

I think I'm going to keep doing what I am doing now and not try to maintain just yet because I expect that when I go back on my BC pill in a couple of weeks I will gain back 2-3 pounds.

Today is busy at work. Our season opens next Wednesday and we are all scrambling to make sure we are ready.

Have good food packed, just have to be sure I eat it and not break down and get some indulgent sandwich or fried fish and chips from up the street!

DD has a softball game tonight (which may get rained out) and then tomorrow is my DS's 7th birthday Party! We are going to play games, take canoe rides on the lake, eat hamburgers and hot dogs and make tie-dye shirts. I think we will have about 10 kids there! And then after that I will drink several glasses of wine and collapse!

i confess to being disappointed with the scale this morning. first day since i started this thing that i haven't seen it go down. in fact i'm up one. i KNEW it would happen and i know it's just the usual fluctuations but, still, the honeymoon is over. it'll sort itself out to a loss over the next days.

it's raining here and not as high paced at work as it has been this week. i think i will only be offered food i can't eat once today! cheese and crackers at seminar.

my workout tonight will be the weight, circuit, and interval training i blew off last night. i'm just going to juggle my rest day. i also want to do the friday night yoga class that i did last week, nice and small with lots of individual attention, but its more important to get my warped workout done.

have fun at the ballpark tonight cherie! i would love to get some sun. my legs are beyond pale at this point. sigh. some days i miss florida.

your day sound heavenly mags. enjoy it.

Mags, I never got into New Kids at all. I hadn't heard that they got back together. The Backstreeet Boys, on the other hand... I had a major crush on them (my oldest DDs were all teens and preteens). They are back together, too, and I actually like their new stuff. It's a guilty indulgence of mine!

I am going to step class this morning, then a friend invited me to come with her to lay out in the sun somewhere. We haven't decided where yet. Today is supposed to be super nice and sunny. We need sun here so badly!

Later tonight is a baseball game with DH. It's bobblehead night, alright!

Kelly-- I hate hearing about kids getting bullied...hope he's feeling better
Berkley-- have a fun weekend
Kitti- Deep Breaths!!
CJ--sending you perfect day vibes

I'm going to have a perfect day because I am off work today! I took the day off to get yard work done and it's beautiful out there! I'm sitting in the kitchen browsing the net, watching the today show and sipping on my coffee, planning out my day! Once I'm done here at DW I'm heading outside to clean up the yard and take inventory of what areas need plants, then I'll look at what I have for pots and soil and then head to the garden store (i'm so excited....I love the garden store) where I will spend lots of money I'm sure.

Later I may walk/run through the neighborhood checking out all the garage sales....looking for toys for the grandkids to play with at grandmas...

I'm going to count my gardening /garage sale walk/running today as exercise---

Off topic--why do the New Kids On the Block think they had to reunite? they were bad the first time around...I'm watching them on the Today show and they are awful!

Hope your son feels okay as the day goes on Kelly. How is he dealing with your divorce and you dating again? Have fun with your time off work. Do you get paid for the lay off?

Berkely, good news on your PT assessment results. Do you live close by an IKEA? I was there last weekend and saw some nice flip out sleeper chairs that were very reasonably priced.

Kitti , good job on the perfect day yesterday. Here's to another one today.

I need a decent day today...yesterday, not so great. I'll do better today.

Woke up to a phone call from the school: my son got hit in the head with a binder. The nurse is going to keep an eye on him on and off today. I talked with him and he tried his best to get to come home. And the nurse informed me the student throwing the binder has been disciplined. Which is good, or I would have had to talk to someone else in the school (again) to find out why they repeatedly don't deal with this bullying stuff. Long school year filled with bullying and dropping grades.
As for me, I am doing laundry, maybe some budgeting, being lazy today. DBF coming over later. There are a lot of projects and things we would like to do during our time off. One project I am going to do is research recipes/exercise plans. I have plenty of time right now, so no more excuses!

Let's see...plans for Friday:

1. Pretend to work so I can get paid for all 40 LONG hours of this week.
2. 20 minutes bike/20 minutes stairmaster for cardio

Over the weekend I probably won't get to this forum much (though I'll try) so weekend plans are as follows:

Sat: Have to find a studio sleeper chair for my son...he'll be here in 2 weeks. I could get one online but I don't want to have to pay shipping as well if I can get one from a Super Target or something. Of course, driving all over creation I might end up spending as much in gas as I would on shipping...we'll see. Also going to look for a spacesaver dinette set (furnishing a studio apartment for two people is rough). This is also a strength day at the gym. For now, I'm doing a total body workout but if I find I need more than 24 hours recovery time I'll switch to a split routine so I can continue alternating days cardio/strength.

Sun: Be a complete vegetable and watch a Law & Order marathon or something. :P It's an "off day" for the gym...so I will be relaxing.

ok. so yesterday i finally made it to the grocery store after work - shopping at 9:00 pm isn't fun, but i so needed food in the house so i could make better choices! yesterday i had the beginnings of one perfect day. am going for my second in a row - need another perfect day to get back on track, and get rid of my sweet tooth.

eat clean. DRINK MORE WATER!! and take deep breaths - am swamped at work right now, and feeling a tad stressed! which i know is my eating trigger - so deep breathing and lots of laughter as stress relief instead!

have a great day, everyone!
