Well...... I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that we'll start seeing some others join us in this thread and start posting THEIR food intake, too! Maybe with the New Year????

I think after a certain time has passed or perhaps earlier if someone has viewed the post, that message appears. If you re-edit an already once edited post and remove the previous "This post has been edited" line, you still have one line of the same for the current editing. But at least if you remove what you can, it'll look better than seeing 3 or 4 lines of the same phrase.

I was wondering about that annoying [this post was edited by blah, blah, blah] message the appears at the bottom of SOME posts only. I can edit and reedit a post all day long and it doesn't insert itself..then, after a certain time at night it starts appearing. ???? http://boards.dietwatch.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Hey, great idea. I'll do that, too. I write mine down on paper in a tablet anyway, but it won't take as long for the entry if I do it bits at a time.
When you come back for editing, you can also edit out the line that will appear at the bottom stating that you had previously edited the post. (Just makes it look neater! Oh, the office secretaries at school would be laughing and shaking their heads at me for that statement. I'm such a perfectionist / neat freak at some things and they know me so well. LOL!)

I took you at your word and started this thread a little early. I'm going to make my initial entry then edit my post after supper. I might be more accurate if I enter right after a meal rather than relying on my memory 12 hours after the fact... http://boards.dietwatch.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
