Every year during week seperating Chrsimas and New Years the people of Point Hope (The Tikigaqmiut) join together to participate in community activities. These include all nighters in the gym spent in Eskimo Game competition between the two remaining qalgis (Clans), Eskimo dancing and during the day a men's and women's dog sled race. Today the ladies ran their dogs and I got some pix of the event....
