Takjuan, I guess that's a personal preference on whether you count carbs or do the exchange. Whichever will work easier for you is a good place to start. You need to do a plan that's workable and do-able for you. I don't do either of them......I count calories! And keep an eye on the carbs a bit, too.

You might try one for awhile and if it's not working, try another.

Good Morning!

Went to the doc and they said that I will still have to go everyday for awhile..it was smelly today.

I have my inspection this afternoon...sobeen doing last minute cleaning. Hope she shows up early.....They didn't give us a time...just sometime between 12:30 and 4:30. I need a nap...no nap after the doc to sleep off that morphine....I'm dragging!

Hope you have a GREAT day!

I'm a recently diagnosed type 2 diabetic. I have to lose 60 pounds. I thought I knew something about food groups, but controlling blood sugar with food is harder than I thought. I get mixed up on portions and what foods are allowed. I love fruit, but there's lots of carbs and I've found out that's not good. Is it better to count carbs or do the exchange? Thanks.

Good morning, Everyone! Did you remember to weigh in yesterday? If not, please go back, fess up, and be accountable. Yeah, yeah, yeah - I'm a nag! Now go do it.

If you were unhappy with your scale reading, or "knew" and didn't even check it, or are discouraged because you just feel like you're making the same old mistakes and NOT making any progress........... Please know that you are not alone and it is NOT a crime to have difficulty trying to stay on track!!!!

Others here are in the same boat. Some got on a different boat and sailed right outta here and don't even post with us anymore!!!! But YOU are here. You're still trying. Day after day and week after week you keep putting that best foot forward and are trying to reach for a little more success. You're makin' the effort!

You have good days, but sometimes the bad habits come back and knock you down. But you get up again and keep trying!!! Good for you! Kudos for being here and waking up to each new day with renewed enthusiasm and determination to continue on your journey.... No Matter What! You're making a difference and learning from your mistakes and moving on.

Remember........Fall nine times, Arise ten! (Borrowed from Jeffrey Joe on AC) And you only FAIL, when you quit!

Oh, and before I forget..... Good morning to ya. Remember to respond and sign in so I know you were here today. Now get out there and give it all ya got today, and have a Terrific Tuesday!
