Mara, what a good girls day out. I love Missoula! I'll have to come run it one day with you. Laura

Mara Girls' day at the races sounds great - have fun!
John Brrrr! Chilly! Though I myself would vote for overcast on M-day, I can do without the rain! (And temps, within reason, can be compensated for by appropriate gear, as you well know).

If it's to be, it's up to me.

Plan of attack? Can I have a belated Wednesday Whine instead.?
I went for a walk this morning, 39º but real-feel 34º, with a 12 mph wind. Brrr...
At least it is sunny. Sunday, for the marathon, the forecast is 37º at the start, overcast, gusting winds 15 to 20 mph, and a 60% chance of rain!
Whine....

After being a total slug yesterday (doing only abs and pushups, no run!), I ran 5 this a.m. at a pace of about 9:15. Still not back to 9-minute training miles. *Sigh* But, the run is done. Will do a hill-walk after work with my mom and then abs and pushups tonight. The plan is to run 7 tomorrow a.m., 7 Saturday and 3 Sunday for a total of 25 on the week.
Food today: 1400-1600 calories.
Water: 48 oz. 10 down so far.
The Blue Mountain All Women's Run is Oct. 11 and I'm doing the 10K. I'm taking off at noon on Friday, Oct. 10, and driving Missoula (where the run is) with my mom. We're staying with my youngest sister and have a great all-women's weekend planned. My mom and sister are walking the 5K. http://boards.dietwatch.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I can hardly wait.
