Hi Yes!
Prednisone always causes me to put on about 3 to 5 pounds of water weight almost instantly. Then I lose it as soon as I am off it. I have never taken it longer than 5 days though..for bronchitis several times and for tendionitis recently. Hope you find th einfo you need and th emeds do the trick.

Plan for today:
upper body strength training done
yoga 1hr - to do
cardio 45mins - to do
Research predisone. have to take it for the next 15 days. i know it causes weight gain, but DR tried to assure me i was not taking it long enough for that to be an issue.
Tre - sounds like you made an executive decision! I know you've been working on the house for a long time and I'm sure you're ready to finish it off.
This week I'm in cub scout camp with DS#2 for the awful-for-me hours of 2:30 - 8:00 p.m.! We are going to play tennis this a.m. I have been fighting a wretched cold since Saturday. Last ran on Sunday and intended to this a.m. but just needed the sleep. Plan is for water, water, water to help the cold and temper the meds. A trip to grocery and smart foods today.
One step at a time...

ssobka, moving furniture counts as exercise in my book. I mean, unless all of your furniture is that inflatable kind (LOL). Hope your day goes better than you expect.
I am going to the bank to re-fi the mortgage this AM, then borrowing about 30K from the same bank to do some home improvements around here (E-Gads, yes I am at it again). I have decided that life is too short to be perpetually covered in drywall mud and liquid nails, so I am hiring this stuff out and I will get a job that I enjoy to pay for it. So there. As my bod gets more in shape, believe me, I feel much more confident about getting the type of employment I want, too. Seriously considering going back into the medical milieu. Maybe not psychiatric, but lab work at a hospital or clinic.
So - back on task: Plan for today
Food - clean, lean, green
Exercise - 10 mins stationery bike this aAM, gardening this afternoon, walk this evening
Water - 68 ounces, minimum
Have a great day, all!
love ya's

I've got a very crazy day, so my goal is to stay focused on my food plan...no snacking!
I have to go to the Dr with a friend, and am expecting bad news for her. I have a habit of emotional eating so I thought I would put it out there in the hopes of taking the power out Before I eat so I won't overeat!
I'm also going to the Theater with some friends and we are going to dinner first, Planning to have a salad with Chicken of some sort.
Can't exercise today, but I do have to move all of the furnature to get the carpets cleaned.
Hope you all have a great day!

Exercise Day one of marathon training - a 3 mile run this morning. After that, yoga.
Food Sensible, reasonable. Tummy's still a bit "off" after Sunday/Monday, but I should be okay.
Water To my thirst.
