It's wonderful to have a goal, but even more important to have a plan to get you there.

Personally, my long term goal is to get down to 150. Thats 86 pounds away from today, but it was almost 150 from my starting point.

My plan to get there changes monthly. I am always looking for the behaviors I can change to make my journey easier and a little less painful.

I look at the behaviors, see how I can change them into healthy habits to last a lifetime and tackle them one or two at a time.

Today I am steering clear of most food and taking mainly liquids, as I am sick. Doctors orders to stay bland or liquid for a couple of days.

I will take in a minimum of 120 oz. of cold clear water, and walk at least 3 miles between naps.
